    UPMC Sports Medicine provides world-class care to help treat and prevent sports-related injuries and training programs to improve all aspects of athletic performance for professional athletes, weekend warriors, and young athletes. Whether you are young or old, professional or amateur, UPMC Sports Medicine has the expertise, advanced technology, and services to make a difference in your care.

    We value our partnership with high school athletes and their families, providing more than 100 certified athletic trainers to schools in the region. Our athletic trainers are on the sidelines managing injuries and providing emergency care, as well as delivering therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation to help athletes safely return to their sports.     Trainers

    Leigh Keller, BS, LAT, ATC
    Ms. Keller has been an athletic trainer with UPMC and East Allegheny since 2004. She has a degree in biology from St. Vincent College and studied sports medicine at California University of PA. Leigh has been a certified athletic trainer since 1999 and licensed since 2012. She is also a certified CPR instructor for the American Heart Association.

    Juliana Waclawski, MS, LAT, ATC
    Ms. Waclawski has been an athletic trainer with UPMC and East Allegheny since 2021. She earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from King's College and her master's degree in sports medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. Juliana has been a certified and licensed athletic trainer since 2021.
